More Control Over Every Cut
Keep your work organized and your routing setup consistent. This positioning base is designed to assist with guided slotting and joinery tasks using a compatible compact trimmer.
01 / CONTROL
Help Keep Your Trimmer Aligned
Freehand routing can make it difficult to maintain a consistent line, especially when creating repeated grooves or concealed connector slots. A positioning base adds a guided reference to your setup and helps make repeated work easier to manage.
- Guided positioning along the workpiece
- Designed for repeatable woodworking tasks
- Useful for grooves, slots and furniture joinery
02 / CONSTRUCTION
A Solid Metal Structure for Workshop Use
The aluminum-alloy construction is designed to provide a sturdy support structure for routine woodworking. The rigid frame and adjustable components help you position the tool according to the task at hand.
- Aluminum-alloy frame
- Adjustable guide components
- Compact format for workshop storage
03 / ADJUSTABILITY
Adjust the Guide to Suit Your Workpiece
The adjustable guide helps position the trimmer in relation to the board edge. The source page describes a clamping range of 0–50 mm; confirm the actual range for your supplied model before publishing.
- Adjustable guide fence
- Designed for different woodworking setups
- Check the measurement scale before each cut
04 / MULTI-PURPOSE DESIGN
One Base. More Joinery Possibilities.
Designed to assist with common furniture-making tasks, from straight grooves to concealed fastener slots.
Concealed Connectors
Helps position slots for compatible invisible fasteners used in cabinets and furniture assemblies.
Furniture Projects
A practical workshop accessory for cabinets, bookshelves, panels and other furniture projects.
05 / FINE ADJUSTMENT
Set Up with Greater Consistency
Adjustment knobs and visible measurement references can help you set up the guide for your workpiece. Check alignment and make a test cut on scrap material before working on your finished board.
- Adjustment components for positioning
- Visible reference marks where supplied
- Test-fit before final assembly
COMPARE THE WORKFLOW
A More Guided Approach to Routing
Compare the general workflow of a positioning base with freehand routing and basic homemade guides.
| Feature | Positioning Base | Freehand Routing | Basic Homemade Guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guided reference | Designed in | Manual | Depends on setup |
| Adjustable positioning | Guide adjustment | Manual | Varies |
| Repeated cuts | Designed to assist | Requires careful control | Depends on construction |
| Workshop storage | Compact accessory | No extra guide | Varies by design |
| Tool compatibility | Must be verified | Depends on router | Depends on guide |
Comparison is descriptive, not a guarantee of cutting results. Performance depends on tool compatibility, setup, bit selection, workpiece material and operator technique.
